Caitlin Emmerich

Caitlin has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance (with distinction) from the University of Wollongong. She is currently nearing the end of her practical legal training with the College of Law and is due to be admitted in the coming months.

Whilst studying, Caitlin worked as a commercial intern alongside an in-house solicitor. This allowed her to develop her legal skills in a commercial environment including exposure to the company’s contractual arrangements, attending meetings with clients and stakeholders, reviewing and drafting internal governance processes and preparing legal resource material.

Caitlin has a particular interest in local government and ran as a Shellharbour Council candidate in 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys public speaking, bush walking, camping, drumming and keeping active. She also enjoys participating in local community and charity events such as the Albion Park Show, Country Women’s Association luncheons, Clean Up Australia Day, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk and Shellharbour parkrun on Saturday mornings.
